Carry out social assessments and keep track of socio-environmental risks faced by refugee to ensure mitigation of risks.
Identify and develop Program human success stories to share on the organization’s social media platform and with partners.
Lead the identification of AGYW eligible for DREAMS from health facilities, child and community welfare settings.
The position holder will support the planning, initiation and implementation of the adherence psychosocial support minimum package at the respective health facilities.
Participation in development of sustainable programs, structures and processes of the new shelter
Report directly to the board and come up with strategies on how to build the organization
HIAS seeks to recruit a Social Worker who will assist in the provision of social interventions and assistance to the most at risk and vulnerable refugee clients and children.
Support the coordination of psychosocial support activities targeting adults, adolescents, paediatrics, PMTCT mothers and discordant couples.
Monitor and report any challenges and/or gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules.
Must be a holder of a Diploma in Social Work, with 2 years of experience and a registered member of a professional body.
