Médecins Sans Frontières Belgium is looking to fill the position of a Supply Chain Officer, based in Nairobi County. The successful candidate will be under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain Manager.
The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for the buying/sourcing of goods and services within ESA Regional Office based on needs of Save the Children’s programmes, managing requests and relations for a complex portfolio of programmes.
The Supply Chain Management department is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the Supply Chain Management function, advising the Agency on Procurement laws and Regulations, overseeing the Procurement process and providing guidance on disposal of assets.
The Planning Graduate Apprentice will work under the Material Requirements Planner to ensure availability of packaging and raw materials at optimal cost and cash as guided by the factory production plans.
Developing and coordinating the preparation of annual procurement and disposal plans and their implementation.
As the SC Finance – Logistics & SC Overheads Controller you will be responsible for driving financial performance and ensure there is financial control in the areas of logistics operations, SC Overheads and business waste. You will be an active member of the Go-To-Market (GTM) Supply Chain Leadership team.
Participate in processing procurement requests for goods and services in the DRC Dadaab Field Office.
Reporting to the Principal Supply Chain Management Officer, the successful candidate will assist in managing the inventory, assets and stores of the Commission.
