CA Associates a company involved in the delivery of human resource solutions is looking for an enthusiastic communications and marketing intern to join our company, you will work under other employees involved in creating marketing ideas to help achieve our goals. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
This internship will help you acquire marketing and communication skills and provide you with knowledge of various communication and marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and communications and should prepare you to enter any fast paced work environment.
Responsibilities
Supporting our administrative assistant in daily administrative tasks and in our cyber.
Assisting in the management of our social media platforms
Assisting in collecting and analyzing data from marketing campaigns
Assisting in performing market analysis and research on the competition
Assisting in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media and in person)
Assisting in preparing promotional presentations, materials and articles for our blog
Help distribute marketing materials
Learn and assist in managing our email marketing and email contact database
Assist in sales of our products and services.
Required
Above Average customer service and engagement skills
Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. Adobe, Publisher, SEO and WordPress
Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
Current enrollment in a related educational program diploma or degree
Willingness to work around christmas and new year dates
Must live within Thika.
