STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area.
- Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English is a requirement.
JOB PURPOSE
Under the direct supervision of the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and in close consultation with the Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (VAM) Officer head of the M&E Unit, the Data Analyst is responsible for Kenya’s Country Strategic Plan (CSP) M&E Database systems, analysis and information management.

DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE
- Has worked with technical teams (i.e. M&E, Nutrition etc.).
- Experience: At least five years of progressively responsible job related technical experience in database systems and analysis
- Must have experience in developing applications for mobile devices
- Prior experience with a humanitarian organization or with analysis of monitoring data would be an added advantage
- Experience in using relational database systems including MS SQL Server, Oracle and Microsoft Access, Mastery of software development tools e.g. Asp.net (C#, VB.net), PHP and other development platforms.
- Experience in using analysis softwares including SPSS, tablueau, R and other analysis software
