AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN
Position Summary
To ensure the Hospital Air Conditioner and Fridges/Cooling systems are well maintained, and in serviceable condition
Main Duties
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance on all hospital air conditioners and fridges/cooling systems to ensure they are in serviceable condition
- Undertake basic repairs of all Air Conditioners and Fridges defects reported daily and during inspection such as UPS, & theatre air conditioners
- Carry out periodic checks and inspections of all hospital Air Conditioners and Fridges and Generator to establish all repairs and maintenance required
- Recommend materials and supplies for requisition within the workshop stores necessary for efficient delivery of services
- Ensure tidiness and safety of workstations and sites within the hospital
- Checking availability of medical gases within hospital & replacing them as necessary
Required Qualifications for the Position
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years’ experience
- Technical Understanding
- Equipment Maintenance
- Attention to details
- Deadline oriented
- Analytical skills
- Team player
- Assertiveness
- High standards of personal integrity
- Ability to mentor and supervise
- Minimal supervision
