This position is responsible for management of Pension Scheme & Insurance related operations to ensure superior service delivery. The job holder will be expected to drive digitization of operational systems.


· Oversee management and supervision of pension administration, fund accounting and Insurance operations.

· Responsible for the service delivery and maintaining quality assurance protocols.

· Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures through digitization.

· Actively pursue and implement strategic and operational objectives and solutions to support transformative and legislative change.

· Proactively manage risk and ensure compliance within regulatory guidelines.

· Improve operational systems, processes, and policies to facilitate better reporting, information flow and management.

· Undertake organizational planning aimed at enabling staff to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.

· Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives and regular and ad hoc projects.

· Ensure documentation of business requirements, processes and standards leading to ISO compliance.

· Prepare Management reports to track and analyze the performance and overall health of the Scheme & Insurance Operations.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

a) Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial or Business related field from a recognized University.

b) CPA(K) or ACCA.

c) Minimum of six (6) years of work experience in operations within the financial services environment preferably Pension, Banking or Insurance.

d) Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulations relating to the Pension Industry.

e) At least two (2) years in a Supervisory role

f) Strong IT competency with advanced Excel skills.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

a) Professional Qualifications in related field of work

b) Excellent understanding of Investment Accounting

c) Work based experience in Operations Systems Analysis.
