We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Relationship Manager within Jubilee Health Insurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Business Retention Manager – Corporate Medical and will be based at the Head office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose

The role holder will be responsible for visiting patients at the various service providers, providing professional guidance on policy matters, ensuring comfort and assistance of patient by the service provider, and communicating with providers, clients and brokers on a timely basis for any rejections or relevant concerns

Main Responsibilities

  1. End to end proactive management of Intermediaries/clients relationships within assigned portfolio of schemes.
  2. Ensure top notch customer experience is always provided to intermediaries/clients while working closely with other departments.
  3. Contribute to the growth of the portfolio (topline) to the set annual targets through retention, acquisition of new business and renewals.
  4. Responsible for obtaining and providing correct market intelligence on renewal/Tender business to ensure it is correctly/competitively priced.
  5. Proactively manage and reduce all costs including cost controls for adverse performing schemes.
  6. Support on excess, undertakings, and premium collection.
  7. Adhere to all the processes, procedures and controls set parameters. Full compliance of Jubilee Insurance non solicitation policy and maintain high integrity level.
  8. Train and increase uptake of all automation initiatives by clients/intermediaries and having gained comprehensive understanding of the same.
  9. Demonstrate teamwork/spirit and continued personal development.
  10. Any other duties that may be assigned by the management.

Qualifications

  1. University Graduate in business related degree com/Finance/Business Administration/Insurance Option/Marketing, or economics)
  2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite & packages (word, excel, PowerPoint and vision)
  3. Professional insurance qualifications – CII/COP (Gen and Medical Papers) an added advantage
  4. COP (Medical & Gen Paper)
  5. Knowledge of Actisure system – added advantage

Relevant Experience

2-3 years’ experience in the insurance industry preferably in client servicing. Experience in handling SME/Corporate clients/portfolio is a must. Sales experience with a high closing ratio and excellent report writing communication and interpersonal skills.
