The Clinical Officer will ensure that optimal standard of care is achieved in line with National guidelines, client satisfaction and good clinical outcomes.
To ensure the patients are fit for anesthesia and surgery and also ensure the safety of patients during the perioperative periods. Also, ensure critical care services are provided to patients as needed.
The Clinical Officer's main objective is to provide quality health care both outpatient and in-patient units through patient clerkship, diagnosis and treatment of diseases based on clinical signs and symptoms and available laboratory findings.
The clinical officer in charge of the health posts will be responsible for the overall coordination of health activities and supervision of the staffs in the health post.
Provide comprehensive and high-quality clinical services including (Take/review the patient's history to ascertain the right clinical examinations and treatment and prescription of treatment) to patients.
