The Hospital is soliciting for qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance In Charge.
Position requirements:-
- Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Should demonstrate high level of compassion, integrity, commitment, professionalism, stewardship and God fearing.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepares and maintains preventive and routine maintenance schedules and monitors their implementation
- Supervises and assigns duties to the maintenance staff
- Prepares shift program for the staff
- Prepares maintenance reports and submits to the Services Manager
- Monitors repair costs and advises on retirement of some equipment, where applicable
- Ensures all plumbing system is working efficiently
- Ensures all repair work on furniture and fittings is carried out effectively and on time.
- Coordinates equipment purchase, installation and commissioning.
