RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAIN TASKS
Complete the development of our in-house digital platform co-designed together with our Data and Digital Platform team, to house applications already built through use of advanced free and open source tools.
Develop on-demand new interactive applications for emerging market-venture portfolio needs
SKILLS
Background in computer sciences
Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, or Ember
Fluent in JavaScript, html, R as well as at least one of the following: C++, C#, Python or Ruby
Server-side languages like PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, .Net A minimum of 5 years’ experience working with a programming language of choice
Front-end and back-end experience
Experience developing website and mobile applications
UI/UX design knowledge/experience with mastery of graphic design 2
Preferred: server set-up experience
Web server technologies like Node.js, J2EE, Apache, Nginx, ISS
Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Frameworks related to a server-side language of choice
Relevant web libraries for mapping and charting
Highly advantageous: Expertise in dovetailing R scripts with visualisation and reporting portals as well as server-side databases
Preferred knowledge and/or experience on insurance and the financial inclusion space
Ability to structure and manage complex tasks
Excellent analytical skills
Resourcefulness
Ability and drive to work independently
