Job Description & Summary

What are we looking for:

We are in the process of strengthening our People Effectiveness Team within the Tax line of service and we would like to recruit an ambitious, highly motivated and dynamic person to the role of Senior Associate.This role requires one to develop specialised reward solutions for clients. These solutions include salary and benefits surveys, Board remuneration reports, short term or long term incentive schemes, employee engagement surveys and other benchmarking initiatives.The person will be required to:

  • Understand clients’ business and related reward issues and provide workable creative recommendations.
  • Draft and present project proposals in response to client needs.
  • Collect, analyse and prepare reports with respect to the offered services.
  • Research and keep abreast of reward matters in the local and international market
  • Execute reward consultancy assignments on time and within firms’ quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationship with clients to the level of being their trusted advisor.
  • Articulate PwC recommendations to clients and relate them to resolving their needs.
  • Be keen to work as part of a team servicing our existing clients and help win and develop new ones.
  • Participate in facilitating reward training
  • Comply with internal/external PwC risk management requirements and ensure that all client engagements are performed in accordance with PwC risk and quality protocol

Preferred skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university
  • Diploma in Human Resources Management or CHRP, CPA (K) or ACCA or equivalent.
  • High integrity and ethical standards
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Highly analytical and numerate with a good level of computer literacy
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Intensely client focused, ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective team player , works with minimal supervision and output driven

Minimum years experience required

  • At least 3 years’ experience in either HR Consulting or Reward and benefits management

Additional application instructions

  • Experience in Compensation and Benefits is an added advantage
  • Experience in data analytics is an added advantage
  • Registered member of IHRM
  • Practicing Certificate from IHRM
