We are looking for qualified and talented professionals to fill the following position.
INTERNAL AUDIT INTERN
Reporting to the Internal Auditor, the roles and responsibilities for this position are: –
- Executing specific audit assignments as dictated by the audit plan;
- Identifying and discussing all control weaknesses and recommendations for efficiency with management;
- Identifying and communicating apparent failures in the control framework within the process;
- Maintaining accurate records to support and satisfy audit tests;
- Identifying and promoting good business practice within the company;
- Monitoring implementation status of past audit recommendations;
- Ensuring Group policies and procedures are universally applied.
- Ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk
- Ensures adherence at all times to all applicable department and professional standards
- Any other role assigned by the Internal Auditor.
- Degree or awaiting graduation in a relevant discipline.
- Full CPA or ACCA qualification is an added advantage
- Good report writing skills.
- Good data analysis and interpretation.
- Mature, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
