Grade 10
Academic Qualification
- Master’s degree in accounting/finance, real estate or related field is required.
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- Computer literacy in relevant areas
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
OR
- Must possess Bachelor of Commerce Degree Accounting/ Finance Option, real estate or its equivalent
- Must possess CPA Part 2 or its equivalent
- Three (3) years’ experience as Assistant Accountant II or comparable position
- Exemplary work performance v. Computer literacy in relevant areas
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
- Qualification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K)
Working experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in accounting, finance, budget or administration, real estate management.
- Experience in implementing ERP systems and in accounting for fixed assets under the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the regulatory framework guiding public Assets management.
- Experience in project management skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of tools and techniques for asset verification
