Our client operates a fast-growing wedding site based in Nairobi.
They seek to hire passionate, self-driven, natural-born salespersons with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
Ideal candidates are experienced sales professionals with past success in print advertising or direct sales, online ad sales with direct mail, newspapers, magazines, directories or phone books
Job Purpose: To sell online advertising space to local, regional and national businesses of all sizes in the wedding industry.
The major duties are mostly spent in the field on closing sales for ads on our online platform.
Salary: Ksh 30,000 + commissions
Location: Nairobi.
Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Sales and marketing or any business-related field
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills and be a ‘people person’
- Candidate must have the comfort level to make cold calls and solicitations.
- The candidate is expected to generate NEW business opportunities and meet the set targets.
- Prior experience in the ads marketing industry is preferred.
- Experience in selling online advertising inventory to brands, networks and/or agencies. Candidates must demonstrate past successes in meeting sales targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Deliver results and meet deadlines.
- Close deals!!!
