Global Payroll, Time, Benefits solution strategy aims to streamline and optimize the delivery of payroll, time & benefit (PTB) services in Roche. As we roll-out this strategy, US and Canada are already live with Workday solution, Aurora and Boreal programs are implementing payroll, time, benefit solutions in Switzerland, Germany, China and LATAM respectively. Continuing this journey further, PTB Small and mid-sized countries program aims to roll-out these solutions in the rest of Roche (EMEA & APAC).
As a Regional Process Lead, you will actively contribute in rolling out small and mid-sized PTB (Pay, Time and Benefits) Program in the responsible region. You will be part of People Support Solutions (PSS) chapter and will report under Global PTB lead. You will work closely with PTB Leads and Experts of the cluster of countries you will be supporting in the region. The role will require your understanding of payroll, time, benefit practices of the region and will require collaboration with partners outside PSS chapter (eg. Finance, Vendor, IT, etc). In the program, you will act as the Functional Lead for a cluster of countries you will be responsible for in the region. The program duration would be around 2+ years and depending on the evolution of the PTB small and mid size strategy and implementation there is a possibility of this position transitioning into a regular operation position in the Global PTB area of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as regional representative for cluster of countries for PTB small and mid-sized countries program
- Functional Lead for cluster of countries in the program.
- Driving simplification and harmonization of processes and practices in the region.
- Participation in defining To-be processes for PTB area.
- Leading and driving completion of work for the countries responsible.
- Ensuring global/regional alignment on process definition, quality standards and data ownership.
- Establishing partnership with other P&C chapters and other business functions (Finance, IT, etc) at regional level.
- Ensuring application of global aligned approach of PTB operating model in the region.
- Support Service Delivery activities, like Service Catalog, Service control and Service Performance Management (KPIs).
- Ownership of PTB system roles and accesses in the region.
- Work closely with Country cluster PTB leads in regions.
- Responsibility of PTB functional deliverables for cluster of countries.
- Functional contact point for region with the vendor.
- Driving OneRoche approach in the region.
- Participation in the Global PTB community.

- Payroll, time, benefit administration experience
- Ability to lead and work in matrix environments

- Experience in managing business processes would be ideal
Further Requirements and Information:
- 3+ years in Payroll, Time/Absence, and Benefits Administration
- Very good English skills (speaking and writing)
- Experience in Vendor management is a plus
- Ability to travel, estimated at up to 25%
This is a full-time temporary position for the duration of the program (until end 2023)
