Introduction
MRM Building Solutions is seeking to recruit a Production Planner. The candidate must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate high integrity and professional ethics and make decisions on the role in a prudent manner.
Overall Purpose of this position: To ensure production planning for all special orders as per sales requirement with minimum costs through batch building for order execution.
Specification
a)Daily planning of received orders with building solution customer service coordinator.
b)Plan and release machine execution plans as per the sales requirement.
c)Analyze Kanban requirement and give painting requirement to CCL as per FI FO/priority-wise for painting.
d)Initiate the order execution/profiling plan as per sales priorities FIFO.
e)Ensure achievement of agreed order lead time.
f) Liaise with the customer service coordinator on their requirements and advise on availability and production status of both MTO and MTS materials
g)Provide feedback to customer service coordinator on SO status and production plans.
h)Monitor Kanban stocking models and profile accordingly for replenishments required.
i)Ability to analyze the market trends and advise management on material planning and profiling needs.
j)Participate in monthly and annual stock take exercise.
k)Ensure SAP master data and BOM details is configured correctly as per the actual consumptions .
l)Compliance and utilization of SAP PP, SD and MM modules in ERP program.
m)Ensure effective implementations of continual improvement systems
n)Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor/manager.
Requirements
- At least a Bsc. in Engineering or an equivalent
- At least 3 years relevant working experience with 1 year in a similar role
- At least 2 years’ experience in the Manufacturing industry
