Job Responsibilities
Reference Responsibility
1Interpreting and implementing human resource management policies, rules, regulations, procedures and systems.
2Analyzing the utilization of human resources in the Authority and advising on proper deployment.
3Participating in recruitment process.
4Undertaking training needs assessment.
5Payroll management.
6Updating the Human Resource Manual and Career Progression Guidelines.
7Coordinating organisation development ad job reviews.
8Analyzing disciplinary cases for relevant disciplinary committees. 9Coordinating skills audit and making proposals on human resource planning and succession management.
10Offering counselling services to staff.
11Coordinating implementation of HIV/AIDS, Gender and Disability Mainstreaming Policies.
12Analyzing staff performance and career progression and making appropriate recommendations.
13Supervising general office services.
14Appraising, supervising & developing staff working under him/her.
Job Requirements
Reference
Qualification 1A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines :- Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or any other relevant field from a recognised institution;
OR 2A degree in social science and a post graduate diploma in any of the following disciplines:
-Human Resource Management,Human Resource Devpt, Industrial Relation other relevant field from a recognized institution :
AND
3Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
-Human Resource Management, Personnel Management,Public Administration,Business Administration or any other relevant field from a recognised institution
4Member of a relevant professional body. 5Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognised institution.
6Demonstrated professional ability, initiative and competence in human resource management.
7Nine (9) years’ working experience in the Human Resource Management field.
8Good communication skills.
9Knowledge in Human Resource Management Information Systems (HRMIS)
10Leadership skills.
11Conflict/Problem solving skills.
12Counselling skills
