JOB PURPOSE:
Troubleshooting and repair of M-kopa related Phone Faults
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
(Main activities undertaken by the jobholder and reflective of the most important features of the job):
- Examine Cellphone unit and observe operation until an initial suspicion is developed to open the unit and perform further checks using electronic hand tools and testers
- Determine parts to be replaced and provide cost estimates to the clients prior to starting any work
- Update client on the progress of troubleshooting and append initial cost estimates when necessary
- Observe regular work schedules to achieve optimum work productivity
- Attend training courses on new developments in cellular telephony and technologies
- Maintain high level of cleanliness at the service workstation
- Check and ascertain that the components such as sim cards data cards and memory cards suit the model of phone
- Eliminate errors of persistent failure of locking hanging and slowing of the mobile phones
- Software compatibility checks
- Check and maintain that pertinent repair and testing tools and appliances are in proper working condition.
