IAUD : INTERNAL AUDITOR II

Responsibility
- Reviewing internal control systems in operations and reporting on any weaknesses;
- Carrying out risk assessment
- Reviewing working papers and draft audit reports;
- Executing audit programmes;
- Verifying the existence and safety of Authority’s assets;
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of records and reports;
- Ensuring implementation of policies, procedures and regulations on financial and other operational systems, including computer systems;
- Collecting evidence on major issues,
- Undertaking investigations and preparing audit reports;
- Holding discussions with clients.
Job Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Examination or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Experience in accounting or auditing field the Public Service or Private Sector will be an added advantage;
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
