Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Sell products and/or services to meet customer needs
- Help grow the business by prospecting new accounts signing new clients
- Service existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service and account/portfolio management
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of deals
- Keep management updated by submitting periodic activity and results reports
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, after sales services etc
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by analysing and evaluating existing data
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations
- Maintain professional development by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks
- Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contribute to the collective team effort by accomplishing results as set out
Desired Candidate Profile
- A BSc in a relevant field such as sales or marketing, among others
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in sales
- Great customer service and relationship management skills
- Experience with the sales cycle and management of the same
- Ability to close deals and meet sales goals
- Self-confidence
