DATA ANALYTICS OFFICER (2 Position)

Qualification

Education, Skill and Experience

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Economics or any other relevant field.
• Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in a comparable position in any other organization.

AND

• Must be Computer Literate with high computer application skills.
• With strong mathematical and analytical skills, ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of data, as well as a keen attention to detail, with regard for data quality and accuracy of information in analysis
• Must be passionate about the collection and maintenance of usable data for decision-making

Key responsibilities also include

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collecting data from relevant primary and secondary data sources
• Organizing and analyzing data of different aspects of the university from time to time as shall be guided
• Using statistical tools to organize, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets
• Preparing reports on trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
• Ensuring integrity and confidentiality in the cause of their duties
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

Requirements

• Must have maturity and confidence to work autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Must be able to work beyond the stipulated time, going an extra mile in their duties
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision
